TEXARKANA, Texas -- Residents of Robison Terrace have had to deal with a cool irritation over the last week, but warm relief is on the way.

Community Manager Katara Rone said the facility runs off two boilers and one went down a little over a week ago. Since then, the facility has been running at half capacity in terms of hot water access.

"It can be irritating during the morning when everyone is trying to shower and residents may have to wait a while for the hot water to come back," Rone said.

A new boiler should arrive in 60 to 90 days, according to Rone.

All of the residents have been notified about the issue, and there is no danger to anyone in the facility, she said.

Robison Terrace is an income assisted 10-story high rise at 1010 Dan Haskins Ways.
