TEXARKANA, Texas -- Both Pleasant Grove and Texas High had great showings on Thursday at PG's annual tennis spring invitational.
Pleasant Grove hosted 10 teams, including programs within its district.
"This was an early glimpse of what all our district teams are thinking with their lineups and an oppotunity for us to see how our Hawks match up," PG tennis coach Erik Pickett said.
Teams competing outside of Texas High and Pleasant Grove were Sulphur Springs, Liberty-Eylau, North Lamar, Pittsburg, Queen City, Atlanta and Chapel Hill.
"Our kids are really playing well as we head into the latter part of our Spring season," Texas High coach Toby Watson said. "Many of our players brought home medals."
