Alamo sentencing reset

Tony Alamo’s sentencing for child sex abuse crimes has been reset to Nov. 13 by a federal judge.

Alamo, 75, was convicted by a jury July 24 n the Texarkana Division of the Western District of Arkansasof all 10 counts in an indictment accusing him of bringing young girls acro ss state lines for sex between 1994 and 2005.

U.S. District Judge Harry Barnes changed the date Tuesday from Oct. 26 to Nov. 13.

If sentenced to the maximum on each count and if ordered to serve the terms consecutively, Alamo could receive 175 years in a federal prison.
