JEERS: To the Wake Village mayor and City Council. Now that we know the police chief possibly was fired for cooperating with a federal investigation, why has no one asked the mayor what the investigation is about? The council simply rubber stamped what the mayor told them. Not one council member ask the chief one question as to why he was fired. The citizens of Wake Village should demand an explanation of this situation.—J.E., Texarkana, Texas
