In light of the recent concerns presented regarding the Miller County Correctional Facility, as the previous warden of that facility from 2002-2005, I would like to respond.

In 2000, Miller County residents voted to approve the bond issue to construct the Miller County Correctional Facility. The bond passed allowed a 1/4 percent tax increase to pay for the construction of the facility and an additional 1/4 percent tax increase to maintain and operate the facility.
