Once again, the myth that Texarkana Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure funds find their way into the coffers of Planned Parenthood has surfaced. Unfortunately, there are always those who choose not only to believe this fairy tale, but to repeat it without verifying its accuracy. As a breast cancer survivor, I am saddened by their misguided efforts to handicap the Race for the Cure’s ongoing quest to save women from breast cancer.
