TO THE EDITOR:

I am from Louisiana and I had the privilege of attending a performance at the Perot Theatre in Texarkana on Monday, Feb. 18, 2008.

First, I would like to comment on your wonderful theater. When I entered the Perot, I felt a warmness and intimacy akin to all the Broadway theaters I have been in. The theater is in great shape and is something to behold. Texarkana is to be congratulated on its refurbishment. When I was a child, I think I attended a few movies there!
