TO THE EDITOR:

The election laws we now have are very confusing and apparently obsolete. With the modern communication tools we now have, we can distance ourselves from the meaningless hoopla and save time and money in the long run. I would like to know, why we should have to have proxy representation (delegates) to represent us at the conventions where the actual contenders are chosen? Shouldn’t the votes we cast locally be sufficient? How about the elderly in the nursing homes and those whose activity is on a very restricted basis be denied representation in lieu of attending a l...
