County Judge candidate Jerry Sewell’s proposal to change the millage back to what it was three years ago would be a financial disaster for Miller County.

First of all, let me explain how and why the changes were made. The Quorum Court approves the county budget each year. Part of the budget process is to set the millage for the General Fund and for the Road Fund.
