Stupidity runs amok in the hall of Congress. This is not an aberration but a perennial condition. There has been a gas crisis in this country since 1973. Congress has done nothing in the interim but impose a 55-mile per hour speed limit for a few years. Congress shares the blame for the present gas crisis.
