TO THE EDITOR:

As a motor vehicle operator, I believe that the matter of what should be done regarding joggers and cyclists is a two-way street. I have been an MVO for over 60 years and have yet to receive a ticket for a driving offense. Yet, like most people, I have had some close calls on our city streets when meeting oncoming cyclists and joggers particularly when on narrow streets and, more particularly, after sunset when I normally drive on low beam because of oncoming traffic.
