TO THE EDITOR:

Going down Robison Road the other day I saw a pretty young girl riding an adorable pink scooter. With her silky blonde hair blowing in the wind she looked like an ad for a new Barbie doll with her tank top, short skirt and cute flip-flops. Unfortunately, either the years of preventive health education or overprotective motherhood quickly turned my vision into one of utter horror. Where was her helmet? Could she even imagine what would happen to her feet if she lost her balance and had to put them onto the pavement?
