In the interest of full disclosure, I am a friend of Molly Beth Malcolm and grew up with her husband, Bruce. I wish to make this clear because of those writing to the paper regarding recent actions by the Board of Trustees of Texarkana College have not informed readers of their connections to Frank Coleman, president of the college. Most of those writing clearly wish to maintain the status quo and it appears to me there is an orchestrated campaign to discredit Ms. Malcolm while deflecting any criticism of Mr. Coleman.
