It is a shame that the Texarkana Gunslingers have applied for a permit to serve alcoholic beverages at Spring Lake Park. My main concern is for the youth of the area being exposed to potential intoxicated drivers inside the park. This is a family park where we take our children and grandchildren to swing, slide and feed the ducks. The only way into and out of the ball field area is through the park.
