TO THE EDITOR:

Arkansas Democrat Gazette published a positive article on E-Verify recently, quoting a spokesman saying E-Verify is updated continuously, has become much more efficient and has added photos. E-Verify is the Social Security Number verification service allowing employers to verify if an employee is here legally.

The article indicated Senator Pryor is in the process of sponsoring a federal law to require E-verifying for new employees.
