This is a letter from a longtime Democrat who will be voting Republican in November. Why?

Well, when Democrats took over Congress we were promised things would get better. Obviously, they have not. The financial world is in a mess requiring large sums of taxpayer money to bail many firms out. How did that happen?

It started when lenders started lending money to prospective homeowners who did not have good credit. Now, where are we getting the money to bail these firms out? We’re borrowing it and frankly, as a nation, our credit is not that goo...
