TO THE EDITOR:

This letter is in regard to the possible loss of Cooper Tire in Texarkana.

I feel that there is a pathetic attitude on the part of some individuals.

Years ago during the last two base closures (BRAC), every company (including Cooper Tire) and politician rallied in support of Red River Army Depot against closure.

Now it is time for “all” these parties to come to the aid of Cooper Tire. There is no reciprocity.

County Judge Carlow and others made many trips to Washington D.C., in an effort to save Red River Army Depot....
