TO THE EDITOR:

I guess it would do no good to demand that the powers that be (Texarkana, Ark., Board of Directors and Miller County Quorum Court) be good stewards of my, as well as every other city and county residents’ tax money.

These two groups seem to play fast and loose with public funds on a seemingly endless list of projects and ideas that either go or end up nowhere—convention center, hockey rink, etc.

I say enough is enough. The city and county need infrastructure repair and replacement such as streets, drainage and neighborhood improvement.
