High-definition television consumers should be very careful when selecting among satellite and cable providers.

Due to insufficient orbiting satellite channel capacity, the HDTV version of all ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC, MNT & PBS network programs from “local” channels in the Texarkana-Shreveport area are not provided directly from either Dish or DirecTV services, even though a telephone salesperson may not make that problem clear.  In other words, consumers will not be able to watch daily and weekly major network programs and specials in high definition, suc...
