Cheers for the editorial Thursday, Dec. 11, asking people to please see that your pets have identification on them.

Right now, there is not a central number to report your dog missing. Therefore, many people call the animal shelter to report their loss. Sometimes that pet’s information gets lost, and animals are euthanized while their owners are trying to find them.
