Louie Avery’s article on Nov. 4 was a great example of were we are in America and our love of sports. According to Louie, the game boiled down to penalties. Having officiated for three years at the high school level in Texarkana (and surrounding area) I have seen my fair share of bad sportsmanship and rare does the outcome of a game come down to “bad officials.” You try to put yourself in the right position at the right time to make the right call.
