TO THE EDITOR:

Today the debate is about health care in the early 1990s. We had this debate under former President Bill Clinton. The Republican Party was against health care reform then the same as now.

In 1994 the Republicans gained control of the House and Senate which lasted until 2006. Six of those 12 years, the Republican Party controlled both the House and Senate and the presidency with President George W. Bush.

The Republicans say they know how to reform the health care system, but the Democratic Party is blocking them. For six years if the Republican...
