n Put old newspapers under cat litter for easy litter dumping.

n If your cat likes to kick soiled litter all over the place, protect the wall by attaching plastic wrap or a brown paper bag to the wall. You can do this also in pet feeding corners, especially if you have a dog or cat that gobbles up food enthusiastically.

n Cut used paper plates in half or use them whole as scoopers when your puppy has an accident, or for cat litter.
