Dear Heloise: I am a 19-year-old sophomore at the University of Southern Maine, and I enjoy reading your column in the Morning Sentinel, which is the newspaper in my hometown of Waterville, Maine.

My hint is in regard to brown paper bag lunches. I use these to take my lunch to work and always like to add a piece of fresh fruit. I could never find anything to do with the stickers that come on the fruit. Then I realized that after I folded the top of the bag over, I could use the sticker to seal the bag.—Emily Sawyer, Waterville, Maine
