Fisherman missing for 3 days found alive
VIDOR, Texas—A 56-year-old Southeast Texas man has been found after going missing for three days after leaving for a day of fishing on the Neches River.
A U.S. park ranger encountered William Foster of Vidor as Foster sat on a bench Saturday in a small park on Pine Island Bayou, near Lumberton. Family members said boat had run out of gas and drifted into the bayou before reaching shore. There, he waited for his family—and waited. His sister, Diane Stevenson, says her brother’s in good health, but he has been mentally disabled since serving in the Vietnam War.
