Police charge man in murder of three at Georgia hospital
The Associated Press
COLUMBUS, Ga. — A former teacher accused of shooting three people at a hospital in Georgia has been charged with murder. Authorities say 63-year-old Charles Johnston was treated for a gunshot wound from police and released to the Muscogee County Jail. Johnston faces three counts of murder and four counts of aggravated assault in the Thursday shooting at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ga. Police Chief Ricky Boren says Johnston went to the hospital to punish the nurse he blamed for the death of his mother. The shooting victims included a nurse, an administrative assistant and a man getting out of his car. Featured Texarkana Business Directory Articles Featured Texarkana Business Directory Coupons |
