Retired Judge Randall L. Williams is wheeled through the Arkansas Department of Correction’s Honor Guard as he makes his way to the dedication of the 516-bed Randall L. Williams Correctional Facility Tuesday in Pine Bluff. The facility was renamed in honor of Williams, a former circuit judge who had served as chairman of the state Board of Correction. Tyler says it’s the first time the agency has named a prison in honor of a living person.
