Texas gasoline prices set another record
HOUSTON—Retail gasoline prices continued to climb to new record heights this week, according to a weekly survey released Friday.
The AAA Texas survey found that regular self-serve averaged a record-high $3.54 per gallon in the 11 areas surveyed, a penny more than last week. The national average price climbed 2 cents to $3.65 per gallon. “Record high crude oil prices above $120 a barrel continue to add upward momentum on retail gas prices,” said auto club spokeswoman Rose Rougeau. The most expensive gas in the weekly survey was in Amarillo, where the average price rose 5 cents to $3.58 per gallon. The cheapest gas was in El Paso, where the price climbed 3 cents to $3.49 per gallon. Featured Texarkana Business Directory Articles Featured Texarkana Business Directory Coupons
