World War II veteran Anthony P. Cizina, 86, and his wife, Joy, look at long-overdue service medals presented to him in a ceremony Thursday at the assisted living facility where they live in Houston. Cizina was presented with the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with four Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two Bronze Service Stars, and the Army of Occupation Medal by Brig.
