DALLAS—A 71-year-old woman has died at a Dallas hospital more than two months after a fiery natural gas-related explosion in McKinney destroyed her house.

The Dallas County medical examiner’s office early Monday confirmed the death of Nancy Foster of McKinney.

The office told The Associated Press that Foster’s death Sunday, at Parkland Memorial Hospital, was due to complications from burns.

Foster’s family in June filed a negligence lawsuit against Atmos Energy and a contractor over the May 16 accident that left two other people hurt.

McKinney is about 20 miles north of Dallas.
