2 kidnapped men found safe in Dallas
DALLAS—Police in Dallas have rescued two men who were kidnapped at gunpoint in Austin.
Authorities say they found Francisco Martinez and Pedro Vargas in a shed behind a home in Oak Cliff early Sunday. The men, whose hands were bound, had been missing since they were kidnapped by three men in Austin on Thursday. Martinez and Vargas were unharmed and have since been returned to their families. Austin police Sgt. Richard Stressing said the kidnapping of Martinez, Vargas and another man from an Austin apartment complex was not random. He said in a story in Sunday’s editions of The Dallas Morning News that they don’t have a motive yet for the kidnapping. The third person was able to escape his kidnappers a few hours. Two other suspects have been arrested in connection with the aggravated kidnapping. Featured Texarkana Business Directory Articles Featured Texarkana Business Directory Coupons |
