Former Texas coach jailed on drug charges
LUBBOCK, Texas—A former West Texas teacher has been accused of growing marijuana at a home and of trying to ship drugs in the mail.
Ryan Ashley Glenn, 29, who taught at a high school in the Frenship school district, had additional drug charges added Monday to three filed last week. Police have said they found heroin, other drugs and drug paraphernalia at Glenn’s apartment Thursday. Glenn also taught several sports to seventh-grade boys in a middle school. Glenn’s attorney, Chuck Lanehart, declined to comment. Glenn resigned from the district Friday, a day after an employee at a commercial shipping store called police to say he’d found drugs in a box a man was trying to have sent in the mail. Glenn worked at the school district two years. Featured Texarkana Business Directory Articles Featured Texarkana Business Directory Coupons |
