Starbucks Coffee Co. employees Karen Markley of Santa Monica, Calif., left, and Katherine Regnier of Port Hueneme, Calif., pull weeds Monday at a New Orleans-area home hit by Hurricane Katrina. The pair volunteered along with 10,000 other Starbucks employees who are in New Orleans this week for a Leadership Conference. The company will assist with 54,000 volunteer hours.
