Man seen using missing ex-mayor’s debit card
FORT SMITH, Ark.—Police in Fort Smith say a store surveillance video shows a person using the debit card of missing former Waldron Mayor Troy Anderson.
The 75-year-old Anderson was reported missing last Saturday by his apartment manager in Fort Smith. Police say the video from a Price Cutter store in Fort Smith shows a person using Anderson’s debit card. Police say the card has been used at several locations in Fort Smith and in Little Rock and that his pickup truck has been found in rural Pulaski County. Anderson resigned as Waldron mayor in 2006 after pleading no contest to misdemeanor charges of abuse of office and indecent exposure. He had been accused of trading city water services for sex.
