LITTLE ROCK—Police say an office has fatally shot a man wielding a knife at a southwest Little Rock home after he wounded his mother and himself.

Police said the shooting occurred Tuesday afternoon when officers arriving at the scene believed the man to be a threat. Two officers fired shots at the man, police said.

The man killed has not yet been named by police.
