Americans forge 3-point advantage on first day of Ryder Cup

Associated Press American Anthony Kim reacts after making a birdie putt at the 14th hole during a fourball match Friday at the Ryder Cup in Louisville, Ky. Kim and partner Phil Mickelson defeated Europe’s Padraig Harrington and Graeme McDowell, 2-up.
