LITTLE ROCK, Ark.—Devon Hughes makes Henderson State a threat to score—even when the Reddies’ offense is on the sideline.

Hughes returned an interception 95 yards for a touchdown last weekend in Henderson State’s 42-17 win over Southern Arkansas, earning a place in The Associated Press Small College Spotlight. Hughes’ interception return made it 28-3 in the fourth quarter.

“We knew then they would have trouble coming back,” Henderson State coach Scott Maxfield told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
