CONWAY, Ark.—Even the best quarterbacks need receivers to throw to.

Nathan Brown has a pretty good one in Eric Ware.

Ware caught five passes for 174 yards and a touchdown Saturday night to lead Central Arkansas to a 42-6 win over Northwestern State—and earn a spot in The Associated Press Small College Spotlight.

Brown is the star of the Central Arkansas offense. The senior quarterback has thrown for nearly 10,000 yards in his career and is the biggest reason the Bears are in first place in the Southland Conference with two games remaining.
