WACO, Texas—Arkansas women’s cross country took the title Saturday at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships, while the men’s team came in with a second-place finish.

The woman’s team, ranked No. 12, took the team title with 51 points. Rice and Baylor tied for second place.

Arkansas women finished three runners in the top 10, five runners in the top 20 and all seven finishers in the top 42.

Both Arkansas teams will compete Nov. 24 in the NCAA cross country championships in Terre Haute, Ind.
