LITTLE ROCK—The 2010 Little Rock Marathon is set for March 7.

Organizers say discounted registration is available until Nov. 1.

The course will take runners over the Arkansas River and back and is set up to accommodate a half marathon, a 3.1-mile race and children’s events.

Participants can register online or with a mail-in registration form. Registration closes Feb. 26, though late entries will be accepted if there is space.

The race is known for its tremendous medals given to finishers of the full marathon.
