James-Banks

Pe’tree LaNette James and Stacy LaMond Banks were united in marriage at 3 p.m. March 22 at Deliverance Temple COGIC. The Rev. Phillip Simmons performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gulley of Texarkana, Texas, Peter Gant of Jacksonville, Ark., and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Reed of Commerce, Texas.

Matron of honor was Tiffany Griffin. Bridal attendants were Patricia Barrons, Daphne Harris, Franshicka Brown, sister of the groom, Verkishiya Burns, cousin of the groom, Sherri Winn, cousin of the groom, Londell Henderson and Amy Harper.

Best man was Trenton Williams. Groom’s attendants were Ikil Banks, son of the groom, Mason Banks, Darrell Banks Jr. and Charles Jones, cousins of the groom, Phillip Lewis and Michael James, brothers of the bride, and Leo McAdams.

Ushers were Lloyd Douglas and William Young.

A reception at Cooper Tire Union Hall followed the ceremony.

After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple will live in Texarkana, Texas.
