Events Texarkana Repertory Company and Texarkana College present the Tony award-winning “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” a musical comedy of epic Roman proportions, at Texarkana College’s Stilwell Theatre today through Sunday. Food and refreshment have been donated and are included in ticket price while supplies last. Sams is fighting cancer. Clarksville, Texas, is hosting a Fine Arts Festival from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. Artists (more than 30) and musicians (including Kent Gooding & Post Oak Savanna, Wendell Davis Group, Gary Harper, Juan Garcia & Fiesta, Gerald & Evonne Carey and Pam King & Friends) are performing free. The Sacred Ground Art & Flute Festival is scheduled for Friday, May 23, through Monday, May 27, at Ka Do Ha Indian Village in Murfreesboro, Ark.
