Events Texarkana Community Music Education presents its 7th Annual Spring Concert at 6:30 p.m. today. The concert includes a variety of music featuring solo duets and instrumental ensembles performing popular to classical music selections. The camp is designed to give youth the opportunity to appreciate theater arts by learning related skills, techniques and disciplines. The Kennel Club of Texarkana will host its annual all-breed dog show on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the Four States Fair Arena. Tickets are now on sale, Reserved seats $20. Arts and Ends The Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council calls for entries for the 20th Annual Regional Juried Exhibition. Works are due to the Regional Arts Center between June 7 and 17. The exhibition takes place June 29 to August 25. More than $3,700 in prize money will be awarded with the top two awards (the Yates Collection Purchase Award and Best of Show) totaling $1,000 each. Open to all adults 18 or older living in the Four States region. All entries must be original and done within the past year. Non-refundable costs: $15 for first entry, $10 for each additional entry. Texarkana’s Regional Art Center is hosting its 16th Juried Student Exhibition from now until June 14, with winners on display through June 25. Both are open through August. “Main Treasures: A Celebration of Downtown” is open at the Museum of Regional History, 219 N. Admission: $5 for adults, $3.50 for children. “Mystery of the Mayan Medallion” is on display at Discovery Place Children’s Museum, 215 Pine St. It’s a hands-on, interactive exhibit giving people a insight into many aspects of Mayan culture.
