Epic action anime hit “Bleach the Movie: Memories of Nobody,” dubbed in English, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Cinemark Texarkana.

The movie, adapted from the popular animated series and a best-selling manga series by acclaimed Japanese artist Tite Kubo, will make its debut at more than 300 theaters across the country.

Tickets will be available starting Monday at the theater box office and online at www.fathomevents.com.

Texarkana Repertory Company invites young people to its 10th Annual TexRep Drama Camp. The camp is designed to give youth the opportunity to appreciate theater arts by learning related skills, techniques and disciplines. The experience also emphasizes team building, responsibility and self-confidence.

The Kennel Club of Texarkana will host its annual all-breed dog show on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the Four States Fair Arena. About 1,200 dogs are entered from throughout the continental U.S. and Canada. A raffle will benefit the Texarkana Animal Shelter.

The 3rd Annual T-Bone Walker Blues Fest at Music City Texas Theater in Linden, Texas, from June 20-22 will bring a wide range of blues performers together to honor the legacy of Linden native and blues guitar master T-Bone Walker.

The three-day series of concerts features such performers as Marcia Ball, Gary “Whitey Johnson” Nicholson, The Blues Specialists, The Bluebirds, Dorothy “Miss Blues” Ellis, Betty Lewis & the Executives, Kayla Reeves, Dee Dee Williams, Diddley Squat, Wes Jeans, Big Red & the Soul Blenders, TuTu Jones, The Kesler Brothers, Almond & Johnson, Pocket Change, Bobbie Oliver and Jam City Review, AJ and the Two Tone Blues Band, and Tyler Dow Bryant.

Outdoor stage Friday and Saturday: $7 and $10 for adults, two day ticket $15. Ticket prices vary for indoor stage: $50 to $200 per day.

Arts and Ends

The Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council calls for entries for the 20th Annual Regional Juried Exhibition. Works are due to the Regional Arts Center by June 17.

The exhibition takes place June 29 to August 25. More than $3,700 in prize money will be awarded with the top two awards (the Yates Collection Purchase Award and Best of Show) totaling $1,000 each. Open to adults 18 or older living in the Four States region. All entries must be original and done within the past year.

Texarkana’s Regional Art Center is hosting its 16th Juried Student Exhibition from now until Saturday, June 14, with winners on display through June 25. Center hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and Thursday until 7 p.m. Free admission.

The Texarkana Museums System presents two new exhibits. Both are open through August.

“Main Treasures: A Celebration of Downtown” is open at the Museum of Regional History, 219 N. State Line Ave. The exhibit features items recently found among downtown Texarkana buildings, as well as items from the permanent collections. Some of the oldest and rarest items are displayed. Admission: $5 for adults, $3.50 for children.

“Mystery of the Mayan Medallion” is on display at Discovery Place Children’s Museum, 215 Pine St. It’s a hands-on, interactive exhibit giving insight into many aspects of Mayan culture.

Admission: $4.50 ages 5 and up, free for children 4 and under.

Museum of the Red River in Idabel, Okla., is featuring an exhibit titled “Native American Cradles,” with more than 50 cradles from many native cultures in North America. Exhibit runs through July 6. Information: 580-286-3616



Museum of the Red River in Idabel, Okla., is sponsoring a Teen Camp from 9 a.m. to noon today for students interested in archaeology. Participants will travel to a dig site in McCurtain County and participate in the actual field school sponsored by the Oklahoma Archeological Survey. The camp will be led by Dr. Amanda Regnier.
