Texarkana Flying Club will an have open house from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9 at Texarkana Regional Airport. Little River County Historical Society will sponsor the fourth annual Two Rivers Gala at 6 p.m. Saturday at Texarkana Country Club. A silent auction will benefit the Two Rivers Museum. Tickets must be purchased in advance.



Historic Washington State Park will have summer day camps from 9 a.m. to about 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Children will experience 19th century life. The camp is for 4th grade through 6th graders.
