Thursday, Aug. 14 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Amusement rides at festival grounds 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 70x7, a contemporary Christian band at the T&P Railhead Pavilion 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. “Old tyme” gospel concert at 1st Baptist Church on McCoy Boulevard Friday, Aug. 15 6 p.m. to midnight: Amusement rides; concessions, vendors, arts/crafts on festival grounds 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Art show at 139 E. North Front St. 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Hand crafts, quilts and homemade cooking at 139 E. North Front St. 8 p.m. Saloon show (“New Boston Idol”)—community center at 301 E. North Front St. 8 p.m. Rodeo at the Rodeo Arena 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Street dance with Country Plus Band on the main stage of the T&P Pavilion Saturday, Aug. 16 All day: Amusement rides at the festival grounds, concessions, vendors, arts and crafts, mechanical bull rides, rock climbing wall and Euro jump, inflatable slide, obstacle course 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Art show; hand crafts, quilts and homemade clothing at 139 E. North Front St. 10 a.m. Parade in downtown New Boston 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Comedy, magic and balloon art of David Wonders at the midway. 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. Saloon show (“New Boston Idol”) at community center at 301 E. North Front St. 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Bunco tournament in the council chambers at 301 E. North Front St. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kids games (free to kids age 6 and under) behind the main stage at the pavilion 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fiddler’s contest on main stage at the pavilion 11 a.m. Antique car and motorcycle show at festival grounds west of the pavilion. 11:30 a.m. Turkey shoot at Scout Lake, U.S. Highway 82 West. 11: 30 a.m. 4 wheeler mud races south of carnival rides, festival grounds Noon, 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Brazos Bottom Cow’ographers at festival grounds, Trailhead Park. 1 p.m. 42 tournament at public library at 127 N. Ellis St. 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday night street dance with Durango on main stage at pavilion. |
