Indie singer-songwriter Cory Branan has traversed many miles since appearing in Texarkana last year. He heads back to town for a show on Friday, Sept. 5, at Club Next. Now based in Austin, Branan croons with a distinctive delivery, heart-on-his-sleeve lyrics and an unassuming, straightforward attitude. This show has the makings of an intimate, fun night. Down the road, he’ll be playing some gigs in Europe for the first time.
