The University Historians Students Club of Texas A&M-Texarkana is sponsoring a Civil War Living History Day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Texarkana College. This event will feature Civil War soldiers, weapon demonstrations, guest speakers and music by The Prairie County Avengers of Bethany, Okla. Four States Fair and Rodeo comes to town Friday, Sept. 12, and runs through Saturday, Sept. 20. Gate admission is $5 adults, $3 children 6-12, and under 5 free. Highlights include: WWE Wrestling at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12 (tickets $20, $30 or $40) and the PRCA Rodeo Sept. 17-20 (tickets $8, $12 or $15). There will also be a parade and demolition derby.
