Twin City Sensations Chorus of Texarkana and the Lake Country Harmony Chorus of Daingerfield, Texas, will present a night of women’s four-part a cappella harmony at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Williams Memorial United Methodist Church’s Wesley Hall on Moores Lane in Texarkana. Tickets: $8, or $6.50 for 65-plus and children under 12.

Quadrangle Festival is coming to town Saturday, Oct. 11 and Sunday, Oct. 12 and will feature the lumberjack show, BMX professional bike performance, antique car show, children’s pet show and parade, Starz Search Youth Talent Show and much more. Popular country music artist Craig Morgan will headline this year’s festival, playing at the Saturday night street dance. Concert tickets ($20) are available at Cavender’s Boot City, Country Music Store, 3939 S. Lake Drive and at the Museum of Regional History in downtown Texarkana. Festival tickets: $5 adults, $4 for kids and 4 years and under are free.

Coming Saturday, Sept. 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., “Trial by Jury” with dinner served at Williams’ Tavern Restaurant and an interactive program which places guests in a position to judge the guilt or innocence of a man accused of murder. Hughes Springs Chamber of Commerce will have the first Miss Lumberjack Festival on Saturday. There are many family fun events. Pageants are at 10 a.m. for girls newborn to 9 years old and 7 p.m. for girls 10 to 18 at the Hughes Springs High School Auditorium. The entry fee is $55 and open to girls who live or go to school in the Hughes Springs, Linden, Avinger, Atlanta and Jefferson school districts. Texarkana’s Regional Arts Center, 321 W. Fourth St., is hosting Landscape: Selections from the Wachovia Securities Art Collection through Dec. 6. Exhibit includes works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Christo. Another exhibit titled “As Real As It Gets” displays the work of local artist Mary Jane Orr through Sept. 27. The 5th annual competition of “WRITE! ON ART” begins Monday. Participants view landscapes exhibit and write impressions. Info: 903-792-8681.
