TexRep and Texarkana College Department of Drama present “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde today, Saturday and Sunday and Nov. 14-16 at the Stilwell Theater in the TC Humanities Building. Texarkana Area Veterans Council will sponsor the annual Veterans Day Parade beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday in downtown Texarkana. It will start at East Broad and Hazel and conclude at the federal building on State Line Avenue. Info: 870-773-8279.



Texarkana Independent School District, Pleasant Grove Independent School District and The Band House will sponsor a Veterans Day Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Grove Performing Arts Center. The Second Time Around Band will be performing. Admission is free.



Don Sanders plays Saturday at Music City Texas Theater in Linden as part of the Cass County Performing Arts Council season. Tickets: $20 at door. Texarkana Symphony Orchestra and Conductor Marc-Andre Bougie present Beethoven’s Ode to Freedom: In Honor of our American Veterans at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18. The show will also feature the “Star Spangled Banner,” “Armed Forces Salute,” “Fanfare for the Common Man” and “Ninth Symphony.” Other vocalists include Mary McMeans, Kristian Roberts, Kwan Kyun Joo, Lawrence Harris and the Texarkana Regional Chorale and Texarkana College Choir. Arts and Ends

Texarkana’s Regional Arts Center, 321 W. Fourth St., is hosting Landscape: Selections from the Wachovia Securities Art Collection through Dec. 6. Exhibit includes works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Christo. The Four States Art Club/Decorative Artists Exhibit is also on display at the RAC. The exhibit will run through Saturday. Also on display, Meaux Johnson: Expressions of Meaux and Lee Ruth: Backyard Safari through Jan. 8. The exhibit will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 7 p.m. on Thursdays. Admission is free.
